What is the difference between an automatic car and a manual car ?

The main difference – the gears, work to do and the number of pedals.

.

A manual car has gears that you need to change and 3 pedals – a clutch, brake and accelerator pedal, you’ll change gear as you accelerate. When you are driving a manual car, you have to use both feet on the pedals, with one foot used for the clutch to allow you to change gear.

An automatic car will change your gears for you, so you only have two pedals to use- a brake and accelerator (gas) and therefore you only need to use the right foot, as you never use these two pedals at the same time.
